Company incorporation steps in Morocco:

  1. Name Reservation: Girimba Consulting reserves a unique company name through filling the requisite application document at the Company Online Registry.
  2. Documents Preparation: Our Team prepares the incorporation documents and emails them to our Client for signatures and email return;
  3. Certificate of Incorporation: Our dedicated Team submits an application for company registration with the Companies and Business Registration office and obtain a certificate of incorporation;
  4. Personal Tax Number: If the director is a foreign national, our team submits an application for a personal tax number with the Morocco Revenue Authority if necessary.
  5. Corporate Tax number: Our Team shall make the applications to the Morocco Revenue Authority to obtain Corporate Tax Identification Number (TIN).
  6. Other Registrations: If the Client intends to hire local staff, our Team registers the company with i) Moroccan Retirement Fund (Caisse Marocaine de Retraite – CMR) and ii) PAYE (Pay as You Earn) Scheme;
  7. VAT Registration: If our Client expects to make taxable income exceeding (US$387,000) within the calendar year, our Tax Agent proceeds to register the company for VAT (Value Added Tax);
